. . to everyone.  I am blessed, and am a newbie on this site.
I can see all that this board is having the same problems most others are experiencing,
namely the social networks.  I am astonished at the stampede away from boards of this type.

I do not know that I will stimulate conversations or discussions, but I shall be reading
and getting a feel for how things work.  I am sure something there should catch my attention.
I read and liked the SOF comments.  I am not associated with a denomination.

Shalom,

Welcome.

I am surprised that I did not receive a notice that you had posted but I will look into that.

Nation of Israel is for all newbies. It is our basic ranking and over time with a certain number of postings it changes just as the rankings do on other boards. It was created to be similar to the original Temple where in the outer most portion of The Temple grounds is where the nation of Israel would gather and as you moved ever closer your title changed.

I will admit that part of the reason for low numbers here is that I assume the same position about The Scriptures that the PNT does, which is from a Jewish perspective. I do not however do as MESSIANICS do which is to impose legalism or Torah observation requirements. I seriously believe in the grace of YHVH provided to us through the life of Y'SHUA, The CHRIST, and find that The Torah observations often enrich our understanding of what YHVH has provided for us as well as a better understanding of the totality of The Scriptures but to "require" them to be observed is to deny the grace of YHVH.

In addition most come here to study rather than to be social. I wish and pray we could have both but for the most part that simply has not happened. I guess I really should not be too surprised since unlike "the church", The Temple was not really a social gathering place. It was a place to worship and learn. It was a HOLY place; a place sanctified by YHVH for HIS purposes. If that is what HE has created here then... YIPPEE!
