Rom 1:16. For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes, Jewish first and then Greek.

Acts 1:8. but you will take power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the outermost part of the earth.”

Remember this is but one such ministry to consider that are first and primarily taking the Gospel to the Jews first.

Just seeing the pictures change at the top makes me long to go back! I went in March of 2007 for 10 days, visiting a ministry there called Tents of Mercy, started by Eitan Shishkoff. WONDERFUL man of GOD and WONDERFUL ministry there. My support is with him.  I would move there in a heartbeat if my husband would! I will look around at this web site as I get time. Thanks for sharing. You can goggle Tents of Mercy and it should come up so you can look at Eitan's web site too. Have to go for now.

Hello, there is another one who is called Jews for Jesus.  They strictly go to the Jews only.  They are Jews who have converted over and seek to bring other Jewish people to Christ.  It is a very good place.

They could use support from anyone also.

Jews for JESUS ( JfJ ) may possibly be "The" best known of such ministries and that is essentially because of all the work they do to reach the Jews in the USA and Canada. They do work worldwide but it is there North American continental work that makes them so well known. They also tend to be very agressive in their attempts to proselytize Jews to The CHRIST and that can thrust them into the forefront of the news.

I joined them in L.A back in 1980 and they helped me so much.  I had converted over to Judaism in order to marry a man of Jewish decent. His family was Orthodox and forbid the marriage unless I converted.   After about 5 yrs I no longer felt close to God, and decided to seek Jesus again. The J.F.J. brought me into their realm and I am very thankful for them and their service they provided me with.

The in-laws were not happy, but they respected my decision. God saw that his the offspring were raised in the O.T festivals and knew their heritage to prepare them for the kingdom of God that is coming upon the earth soon. The Lord made sure I knew these things.

Yes, Jews for Jesus gets the Word out to Jews and are know in Christian Churches by holding Festival scenarios in front of the congregation. But in our City, Timmins, Ontario we approached their rep for materials to help us hold the Feasts and keep the Sabbath. He said, you are gentiles why would you want to keep the Feasts?

It would seem he would discourage us.  Hey! my wife and I both agreed. If we are grafted in we want the blessings of obedience too. We want it all, the HOLY Ghost!  The Sabbath! The Feasts!, Kosher! and whatever else he wants us to do! No one told me we were second class citizens in the Kingdom!

You ran into a truly Jewish attitude toward Gentiles! This is part of the reasoning behind why I teach from within "the gap of the hedge" and why I started the Association of Completed Jews.

No one is "required" to keep the laws as the Jews have or even as most CHRISTians have kept their own. We now "Choose" if we will and why since through Y'SHUA we have been shown that we can keep them without keeping them in a "religious" method; we now keep them in accordance with the spirit in which they were intended. If one chooses to observe any portion in a more strict adherence or more like the Jews do then they are to be welcomed in but they need to be reminded from time to time that this is their "chosen" method so that they to do not become like the Jews who believe that this is required. They also need to be reminded that this "choice" is for anyone. This is most easily observed as one reads the account of the Pesach (Passover) in Exodus as YHVH made it clears that others (foreigners) may choose to come under HIS covering. The Jews you approached were not seeing clearly and you should go to the JfJ website (or possibly that of another group) to request what you want.

Just because you rejected something does that mean that your son did too?

A Jew is one who is born from another Jewish parent. They can also be Jewish if they convert to Judaism. Lastly one who is born in Israel "can be" called a Jew even though they may be of a different faith.

Absolutely true and I am surprised at myself for not including that as well. Thank you for pointing that out. That is the fundamental premise behind The Association of Completed Jews and Rom 11.
